hi all
my baby girl is 12 months
im stay at home mum,so going out is crucial 2 my servival! she sleeps in her buggy 4 about an hour.when she wakes i give her biscuits, banana, water, toys, anything to occupy her for an hour or two. then she gets bored and tired i guess and screams and screams and nothing will make her calm unless i run home. she doesnt walk yet.
any mums had similar proplem.

by waiting until she wsa 2 and a half and wnet to nursery three mornings a week

if its any consolation dd2 and dd3 are easy in that respect AND dd1 and I are so close even though she is nearly 8 now

gnu · 06/03/2007 14:42

I will enjoy this time then. In fact, even when she's coming down with an illness (like Enid says, involving a couple of days of frustration and bad temper - i.e. every weekend after picking up that week's bug from nursery) she's still happy as larry when being wheeled around in her pushchair - just sitting and smiling at passers by.

Try another M&T group if you didn't like the one you went to, try music, gymboree, library story times.

You don't need to be able to swim to take a baby swimming!

morethanamum · 06/03/2007 14:48

i just thought well enjoy it both if i know how 2 swim too. i think ill be scared if shes in the water and i dont know how to manage if something happened.it`s just a fear of the unknown!!

You don't need to be able to swim in a baby pool!...What are you scared of?

morethanamum · 06/03/2007 14:50

maybe if she started to walk she`ll enjoy walking in the shops with me

It's just a smaller, shallower pool with warmer water! Much nicer than an adult pool anyway.
