my 7 month old son doesn't last a night in either his cloth or moltex disposable. until recently the moltex were great but they have changed them slightly and ds is now soaking every morning. Of course it could be that he just wees more now. Can anyone recommend a good nappy that will last the night? I hope so .....getting deparate now.

have you tried a minki huggle?? My DD1 is 14mths and a heavy wetter yet that lasts 6/30pm-8am with a minki fleece over.

I can recommend the Happy Hempy - stuffed with a folded terry square. The only night nappy which has never leaked on ds!

Flamesparrow · 03/03/2007 13:56

A boosted wambamboo/bambineo does my DS fine, and he soaks through disps at nigt too.

I reeeeeeeeeeeally want to try a huggle though!

how about a bamboo baby beehinds? I'm so tempted as the colours are gorgeous

we had the same problem when ds hit 7 mo - now 9 mo, he has popolleni all in one for day and tots bots for night with a motherease riki wrap - worked really well (btw he sleeps 7-7)

Flamesparrow · 03/03/2007 22:50

DS sleeps 7.30 - 7... with breaks at 12.. 3... 6...

malaleche · 03/03/2007 22:55

DD2 wets more the more she feeds during the night, logical really...Am trying to stop the night feeds now, she's 5 1/5 mo. Maybe that's the only solution?

I use a wambamboo and a folded bamboo terry to boost inside a ME airflow for my really heavy wetting 19month old.

It is pretty bulky but it has never leaked.

Recently put him in a pampers disposable over night as PIL were looking after him and he woke up soaking. Vest, sleepsuit, sleepingbag, sheets bed. Everything.

worzella · 03/03/2007 23:54

bumbles with extra inners and ME airflow works just fine!

i was always leak free with tots bots and motherease wraps

puppydavies · 04/03/2007 20:44

i found fleece wraps always helped the nappy last better.

snugglebumnappies · 04/03/2007 20:46

A bamboo nappy and a fleece or wool wrap is my ideal combo.

Bucketsofdynomite · 04/03/2007 20:51

Popolini Ultrafit (organic terry version for max absorption) with the booster that comes free (from Twinkleontheweb). Amply absorbent at night on my heavy wetting 2yr old and one size genuinely fits all so value for money.

makesachange · 04/03/2007 20:53

Bamboo is the most absorbant fabric, ergo plenty of bamboo nappy plus bamboo boosters are the best option. The nappy is irrelevant in terms of absorbancy - Bambineos, Bamboozles and Baby Beehinds are similarly absorbant (the differences are minimal). They key is which fits best - and Bambineos have the widest tabs to fit over heavy boosting.

my dd is a heavy wetter and having just moved to reusables i have worked out that her pre-fold works fine boosted with a terry square. kinda bulky but works well, no leaks with it yet!

claireybee · 05/03/2007 12:34

We use either a wee notions, ellas house bumhugger or bumble/bambeasy all boosted with a microfibre insert and with an airflow or fleece wrap. Lasts my dd 14 hours and she still feeds at least once a night
