Parents telling you how to bring up your kids

Hi can anyone help, I have 2 children who are well behaved but like all kids try it on sometimes and when visiting my parents it becomes very stressful and upsetting coming to see them as they believe they don't behave well and tell them off, this then causes rows between me and my parents

I had this with my PILs. My DC are really well behaved but my MIL was constantly telling them off - mealtimes were particularly stressful. I can only assume that it was more important to her that they had perfect table manners than that she had a nice relationship with them / me. It's better now they're older (my youngest is 7).

Not really - I just bit my tongue tbh. But yes, it did make me want to limit visits. Do you normally have a good relationship with you parents? Have you tried talking to them about it calmly (ie not when it's actually happening)?

Yes I ve tried and they re quiet stubborn in their views and how they think the kids should behave , my lad is also dyslexic and is so sensitive but they think his diagnosis is a load of rubbish, I just can't win
