Omg please someone save my sanity!
Just finished my second 12 hour shift with 4 hours sleep, before that it was 3..
My 3 month old just cries and cries 😩 she's usually so good at night but I think she's teething, nothing works, her swaddle and bouncer is how she usually sleeps, with a white noise on the laptop, but as soon as you get her off, she's up crying within the hour! Doesn't want to drink, doesn't want anything really.. she just cries. I have another 12 hour day tomorrow and I just know this night will be awful 😭

Will she sleep in your arms?

Nope, she just cries after a minute or two x

Dummy? Calpol? Or if you think something is wrong seek medical advice. My baby screamed like this when overtired-maybe walk in sling/pram or go for a drive to get her some sleep and break the cycle?

Who has your baby while you work? Can they watch her while you catch up on some sleep?

Calpol doesn't seem to do that much and she doesnt have a dummy (she won't take one either, I've tried)
During work they stay at home with daddy, he's brilliant but no way of napping as I finish at 8pm.
Tonight she has finally gone to sleep and slept for a few hours (this is huuuuge progress) but I don't know if it will last, I hope so!

There's a development leap at 12 weeks too.

Hope things are better. It is not normal for a baby to cry this much so get medical advice. Ibuprofen is better than paracetamol for teething but they can be given together if needed. Anbesol teething oil (not gel) is also good.

If baby is not used to you being away it may also be upset over this. If you can do it safely try cosleeping.

DD got very overstimulated (often) at that age, the only thing that worked was teething powders and being held close and rocked in a pitch black room (standing, sitting made it worse for some reason)

night's have been a little better now so I'm hoping whatever was causing the pain has settled down, wish Jose teeth would just come through!
