Book recommendations

For 16 month old dd
Has the that's not my .. books from usborne
A couple of sound books and pocket ones
Seems to be getting bored of them now though. Wondered if anyone had any recommendations for between this age and 2 year olds?

They love anything repetitive at that age so I'd get the Julia Donaldson ones, they'll love them for years to come, a squash and a squeeze is great as it's very rhyming, and room on a broom

You can't go wrong with Kipper by Mike Inkpen and the Peppa Pig books for when she gets into the cartoon

When DD was about 18 months she loved the acorn wood Julia Donaldson ones, they're lift the flap ones, there's 4 in the series
Hide & seek pig
Postman Bear
Fox's Socks
Rabbits Nap
They usually have them in Asda & Sainsbury's
She also like the little peppa pig & Thomas board books

Thanks for your replies. Is it not worth getting paperbacks yet, just stick with board books?

Well DD liked to turn the pages herself so board books were easier we did have paperbacks too but I tended to read those to her rather than with her if that makes sense
