Is anyone using a grobag thats suitable for newborn babies. On the bump to 3 website they say that the best time to start using them is when the babies 10lb e.g 6-8 weeks. However they then go on to say they sell ones for 7lb babies.
Why wouldnt 7lb be the best time to start using them then. Im thinking of getting one for my DD whos 3 weeks and 8lb 9 but was wondering if they were worth it.
Thanks

I used one for our dd, bought it when she was about 8lb I think. She got about a months worth of wear out of it as she outgrew the length.
She was one who never stopped kicking the blankets off so it was the best thing for us.

I got the next size up just because the small one wouldn't be used for long - also dd wasn't wriggly when tiny so easy to keep a blanket or towel in place over her then. Grobags fab now. Another option would be just a warm sleepsuit I guess.

I think the 7lb ones were originally brought out for early/small babies. My ds for example was 3 months old before he got to 10lb. He didn't reach 7lb til he was 6 weeks old.

I swaddled him until he was 6 weeks, some babies like the security of swaddling but you shouldn't swaddle and use a grobag.
