Potty training now - please help!!

I've started potty training my ds (2.10) today (I tried six months ago but I was pregnant, he wasn't ready and it was a nightmare) yesterday he was excited about wearing big boy pants and using the star chart but today it's gone horribly wrong. He weed in the potty twice after a lot of nagging and has since refused to go near it and has weed on the floor twice. I feel like I'm nagging him constantly. Should I carry on reminding him or leave him to it? Any advice or tips would be gratefully received!

I would suggest waiting until he's happies. My ds1 was 3 at the end of October and he still isn't potty trained. We tried a couple of months ago but wasn't ready as he got upset, had accidents and just didn't go on the toilet so we waited. Now I have ds2 5 weeks old and so decided to wait again but he's not that interested in the toilet still, will go on it now and again but that's it. I'm not bothered about doing it early as it'll happen sooner or later and there's no rush. Dd was over 3 when she was potty trained also.
