Can't remember what to do to soften up my nappies

I have been drying them on the radiator, was that wrong, they aren't as soft at all as when I got them

I do have a tumble dryer, is that the answer?

I would suggest tumbling them for a short while - but not until dry as it wears them out v quickly then air dry off. I take it you live in a hard water area? I've found one of those magnetic ball water softeners in my washing machine has helped too.

I dry mine on the line (not often ATM!) or airer and then blast them for 10mins in tumble dryer.

what nappies do you have? I trashed my terry bumbles by tumbling them, it also wore out my MotherEAse ones quicker too so def tumble first then air dry to protect nappies. I have the ability to select how dry/wet to tumble to, they still feel wet when I take them out but once dry they are much much softer than air drying alone IYSWIM
