Suggestions for a toddler nappy

I have been using Motherease one size nappies for my dd (2.5) since she was born, with no problems whatsoever. Recently, for various reasons (building works, pregnant with no 2 etc) I have used disposables for the last couple of months. We are now back to the motherease, and to my horror we're having daily leaks (never happened before). I don't think dd is drinking any more than usual, and the nappies are not always totally soaked when the leak occurs. The problem seems to be with the wraps - they are not fitting her around her legs at the moment (using the poppered motherease wraps - also never had an issue before) - the middle popper is too tight and the loosest popper is too loose....

Anyway, to the point. Since I am expecting no 2 baby in 3 weeks time, I will be needing a few more nappies anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good toddler nappy? Dd is tall and well built, although not excessively so. I was thinking that a pocket/stuffable might be the wy to go as her nursery also seem to be struggling with ensuring the wraps completely covers her nappy, resulting in many unnecessary clothes changes!

Any input appreciated,

Thanks

I have found that stuffable minkis are the best to give to nursery since they fasten like disposables and they can't go wrong with them

Thanks - I have been looking at Minkis - is the containment good? (dd does the most enormous poos...) I guess, as with all pocket style nappies, the absorbancy depends on what insert you use - any suggestions?

I would say Minkis, Fuzzi Bunz or Bumgenius. Minkis are very reliable but are bulky I've found - I tend to use these for night. Fuzzi Bunz are nice and trim but the popper fitting means you may end up in the same situation as now, between popper settings. Bumgenius are a BTP pocket and the fit on my ds (18 months) is very good indeed as they velcro fasten. They are comparable to Fuzzis for slimness and you could also use them on your new baby as they popper down for a smaller child.

Many thanks - I did wonder whether the Minkis would be bulky... Dd is not huge but is very solid and so clothes sizing can be an issue(esp trousers). I've looked at the bumgenius, and it seems expensive (esp compared to my previously trusty MEOS) - is it as good as it makes out? Does anyone have any experience of fit on an older toddler? Dd was 30lb at last weigh which was a couple of months ago now, and so reluctant to pay out on something that may not fit for long. Come to think of it, what are the options for older toddlers in real nappy terms? Dd is not even close to potty training (what with new baby in 3 weeks not even contemplating it for a good few months!) and most nappies go up to 35lb, which she must be getting close to (although I don't think it's a size thing with the MEOS, more a wrap issue)

I loved my bumgenius until DD1 had a bad poo...yuck everywhere...But today in her fuzzis it kept it all in....
Fuzzis 1 - Bumgenius 0
