Which reuseables for potty training??

Not actually ready for this yet (at all, in fact, only 17 mo )...but if I can spread the cost out over a few months...plus ds needs some new wraps anyway so if any are suitable for now and then...

Have images of small boy hopping from foot to foot trying to undo a wrap and then un-nippa/popper a nappy which then falls straight into potty along with liner etc etc...

Any suggestions?

I used pull up pants (reusable ones ) made by Bumpy - they were quite good except that DS got rather big for them too quickly (we didn't potty train until he was 3) Have also found eco friendly pull up pants (disposable) through Beamingbaby.com (can't remember their name - I think it is Bambo). My tip would just be to buy a load of cheap normal pants and a piddle pad to put down under your child if you are out....and wait till summer!

Minki Yoyos are designed for the purpose. Haven't tried them though.

wait till summer and go for the bare bottom method. even more environmentally friendly!

Agree with bare bottom, at the moment DD is showing some signs of wanting to toilet (not potty) train, only prob is we only have upstairs toilets and by the time she has got upstairs herself (she won't accept any help) she ends up squeezing out the smallest wee as the rest is in the nappy. Have gone back to wonderoos/fuzzi as at least there is no wrap involved, did try magicall but they don't contain much and she is a heavy wetter and not at the point of using the toilet regularly at the mo!

Just normal pants (which of course are washable. we never used pull-ups. we have a couple of washable pull-ups but they're quite hassly to use and my children didn't like them.
