Thinking of changing nappy brand any thoughts?

I used kushies for DD1 and used the same for dd2 but I just don't think they are as absorbant this time around. She can be extremely wet after just 2 hours.
I am therefore thinking of changing to a different kind and wondered which brands the mumsnetters would recommend.
She is coming on to the second size of kushies roughly 20 pounds at present.
Any advice would be very greatfully recieved

Thanks maisimog (and others) for all your help I have decided to get a mix of nappies and have ordered them. I was even brave enough to visit the classifieds after your advice. I ordered the ones I previously mentioned plus bumbles and fluffles.
Thanks again I would not have known where to begin without all the info you gave me

Woohoo! [waves] I'm in Edinburgh! We're so environmentally friendly up here aren't we.

That's great, you've taken the plunge! Let us know how you get on, and don't forget to post a review on the nappies if you like them or don't like them.
Ok, Wool is very popular for nights, I only use wool for nights now, because it is absorbent and more breathable than PUL (which is what most waterproof wraps are made of). It can be a little bulky and it's nice to have some PUL wraps for day, but even in the day time, you can get some really slim wool wraps. I really like Bumpy wool wraps , but they are a bit pricey. Couche covers by Puddlepants nappies are slim fitting and very pretty.
The big advantage is that they only need to be aired, not washed everytime after use, so you can wash them every couple of weeks on a delicates cycle or by hand, they don't take long to dry.
I haven't tried fleece wraps, but some people swear by them, they work in a different way to wool and I think they may be slightly susceptible to moisture leaking when the baby stays in one position for a while, not the one for a long car journey.
Nature babies wraps, they are very popular for the lovely patterns and prints, I'm not sure about how leak-proof they are.
Check the nappy blog to see reviews for wool, fleece and nature babies in the wraps section.
Definately check the nature babies wraps, because they have been redesigned recently and I'm not sure if they have improved in leak resistance. They have a new fleece wrap at the bottom of the page and you can see nature babies wraps on this site as well.
Good luck with it!
