this isnt their actual website, not sure they have their own even but this site sells them among many others...

have used the pull ups myself. they are absolutely fine.

Moltex are mostly biodegradable.

twickersmum · 15/01/2007 12:38

olimia

but doesn't it mean they only actually ever biodegrade if they are left in the open air, not in tightly sealed black sacks buried in the earth?
and that's a question, not a statement!

use cloth nappies

no landfill problems there

JackieNo · 15/01/2007 12:49

And I think Sainsburys and Waitrose stock the Nature Baby ones, which are definitely better than the regular sort for biodegradability - not sure if they're completely biodegradable, though.

Re landfill yes that's what i said to dh, it seems a pointless gesture unless we're going to bury them somewhere and not just put them in the rubbish. Yet to be convinced about reusables but i guess i'm feeling guilty about current disposables so maybe that's where we're heading..

I have been using cloth nappies for a week now and love them....Have been using disposible for 21 mths with my own children and 15 years as a nanny so was a big change for me....

I LOVE THEM

They are so easy, and my house smells better as there is no nappy sack/poo smell....I am never going back.

I was getting through 70 nappies a week with my 2

Go for it i say...and if it dont work out then sell them on ebay

PizPizPiz · 15/01/2007 14:35

I've always used washable nappies up to now (Tots bots and Motherease). Now I've switched to Moltex and they're great. I tried Tushies but found them useless. Nature babies are good too.
