My DD is (3.5) and told me this morning she has a wobbly tooth!! I checked and it does wobble a little. Is this right?? Do they start coming out already?? I was wondering in case she might have knocked it or something.

Advice please

Ds1 has his first wobbly tooth and he's nearly 6.5yo.

My nearly 6 year old DD has lost two teeth recently and a third is wobbly. Her sister (same age) hasn't lost any and no signs of any wobbliness yet. 3.5 does seem a bit young.

My DD will be 6 in March and lost her first about a month ago. But about a year and a half ago she did knock one of her top front teeth. It discoloured slightly and the dentist said it might fall out. It is still discoloured but managed to hang in there. It sounds quite likely that your DD may have knocked it - if you're worried a quick trip to the dentist couldn't hurt.

err not sure, my dd1 is 6.8 and hasn't lost any yet!

They are starting to look a little small for her face iykwim

They generally start to lose teeth around 7. Which tooth is it?

3.5 is still quite young. Has she fallen & hit the tooth? Or bashed it with something?

All teeth have some give, they are in flexible tissue so do move, but it is very slight.

Several kids lost them in Reception last year. ds seemed quite old at 6 1/2 in comparison with his peers.

We have already got a dentist appointment booked for the end of the month. She is so keen for the tooth fairy to come it wouldn't surpirse if she wobbled it all day just to make it come out.

I don't she has knocked it as far a I know and playschool haven't said anything.

Hmmm curious!!!!!!

I wouldn't encourage her to wobble it too much. Children nbeed to keep hold of their baby teeth for as long as possible to help limit problems with the permanent dentition!
