Have a look at the Nappy Lady website. You'll get detailed info on those nappies in there. I used the bumbles for 18mths on ds from about 6 weeks. I only ditched them because he wouldn't lie still and it was too hard to fasten the nappy nippa when he was rolling around. So I would recommend them.

it just says its a sized shaped nappy, but it doesn't say whether it is a pocket nappy or not?

Hi Nappy addict - They are a two-part stuffable, if you see what I mean? They have a fleece liner and terry outer layer, and come with a 3-layer booster that you push inbetween the inner and outer layers. The boosters popper in place to keep them where they should be, but come out so they dry more quickly. You can get nipper or Aplix versions, although I prefer the nipper version. I've just started to use them inside out, with the fleece on the outside and terry next to dd's skin, so she feels wetter and will hopefully realise and start telling me when she is wet (she already does with a dirty nappy).
You need a wrap on top - I use Motherease popper ones and have never had any problems with this combination. Would highly recommend them!

I love my bumble...

Bumbles are great.

Have used them on a toddler and a new born. They are quick to dry and fine on my 4 month old who pees like a racehorse.

I use them with ME airflow wraps.

Bumbles are great, use the booster or other aborsorbant material as baby gets bigger/ wees more. for tinies the bumble fold down and that adds extra terry in itsself.
Bimbles- great for tiny babies. But get a bit scanty by the time child is 15lb. The booster is sewn in in these but folds out for drying. They held LOTS of wee and were nice and slim under clothes ( unlike a folded down bumble) but I only bought 3 and am glad I didn;t get any more as boy grew out of them at 3 months.

right so bumbles have a pocket, bimbles don't. they are size 2 bimbles so would presumably fit an older child too.

Both have a pocket of sorts, or rather both have an opening into the space between the flease inner and terry outer layers. the booster folds into or out of that "pocket" if you want to put it there. Or can lie between the main nappy and the wrap ( good for night nappies with more layers of booster). The bumble boster also snaps into a motherease one size pretty neatly.

At present I use 1 bumble booster at night and microfibre cloth doubled over in teh "pocket" in daytime as its a bit less bulky. Boy is 10 m/o.
