Reluctant to give up disposables at night - will it be OK?

DS wears shaped cloth nappies in the day and disposables at night. Is there any point in this? Is he more likely to sleep through wearing a disposable? HHave only just got him sleeping for 5 hours straight, will cloth nappies change this? He only poos every 4-6 days so there is only really wee to worry about.

Use tots bots nappies or a booster in your normal nappies for nighttime, and try a fleece wrap. No reason for him to be disturbed.
I would be worried about poos only every 4-6 days though?

Do you mean poos every 4-6 days during the night?

blob2be · 09/01/2007 15:11

No, he only poos once every 4-6 days! Apparently this is completely normal for BF babies, I have been assured by my HV and MNers. I've got some boosters but no fleece wraps, maybe better invest.

Sorry, meant to ask Gingerbear, do you find Tots Bots best for night-time? Why is that? x

Ah, OK. (I am sure DD used to poo more than that though, and she was BF too.)
Tots can hold a lot of wee, and are a very good fit, so no leaks.
