I know it's probably just a phase, but why would a happy pee-er suddenly be wetting himself?

Um, maybe he's seeing how much wee he can store in his bladder before he has to go?

DD also 3 started wetting and also needing to pee every few minutes. This is apparently v common in 3 - 6 year olds and tends to be behavioural - for us it coincided with a period of being really stressed out with work. We tried to be very calm and matter of fact about it. Her dad got her peeing on the hour (learning to tell the time as well to space them out) and I used a sticker chart for the wetting - a sticker for every half day she didn't wet - and it only took a few days to sort out, although the info I've read on websites about the frequent peeing that it can take weeks....

Some sort of bribery for him to go?! Dd seems to be tricked by me saying I know you don't need to go but sit on it and do what you can (it upsets me that she can be so easily tricked!). Is there any other changes going on that might mean that he's trying to get some control over something? I was really disturbed for a while by dd's wetting but it seems to have passed and loads of people have had similar problems.... Although I haven't got her back out of nappies at night again yet.

I found saying go and do a wee quickley then we can do some play doh or something like that. Or we cant go out until you do a wee just remain calm no shouting. Dont give a option dont ask do you want a wee because the answer will alway be no, just say come on its time to do a wee now. Good Luck
