Hello TrinityRhino!
Was on your mouse thread earlier
I used to live in Dumfries.
Frequented many of your fine alehouses, especially Hole in the Wa' and Chancers
Live in North Ayrshire now

Sugarmagnolia · 17/01/2007 06:57

Trinity - because the water is likely to just freeze up again (which might explain why the lock was still frozen).

Scoosh some WD40 into your locks to prevent them freezing, Trinity

queenofpuddings · 17/01/2007 07:53

hiya, I live in Edinburgh and have a DD who is 13 months old.

2Happy · 17/01/2007 08:07

Yes, mellowma, that's the one - East Links Family Park. Fantastic place. Sadly not even pedalling ds around on the go-kart cycle things managed to shift baby (39+2 yesterday)!

Now see what you have done Kirra. Its snowing!! Well, a little bit.

I love the snow, when you can stay in and watch it from inside anyway.

Where are you in Edinburgh....err where you near I mean? I am in Midlothian (yuk) its okay though some nice areas.

Fimbo · 17/01/2007 13:13

Fimbo wanders in to ponder what Saltire dh does and where abouts exactly she lives..........

BananaLoaf - where in Dundee are you from and how old are you?

tissy · 17/01/2007 13:17

Thats good QueenofPuddings.

I can show you all the sights

No...but really if you fancied meeting up for coffee/tea (when its warmer) we could....

Where are you moving to? Just give me the first letter and I shall work it out from there.

queenofpuddings · 17/01/2007 18:52

hey mellow no mates coffee sounds like a good idea. The place begins with T how about you?

Lilliput · 17/01/2007 19:13

I'm near Dumfries too, dd is 4 on Monday and ds is 2 on Valentine's Day. I started a moaning thread earlier about the weather.

The mention of Chancers brings back some very hazy drunken memories of my youth.

saltire · 17/01/2007 19:21

I was probably barking up completely the wrong tree Fimbo. You live in Norfolk, as have I, you have moved around - as have I, your parents live near St Andrews, as do I!
Is he military?

suedonim · 17/01/2007 20:38

Hi, I live in Aberdeenshire when I'm in the UK though currently live most of the year in W Africa. I'm not a native Scot either, though three of my four dc were born in Scotland.
