best thing you can do lisalweis, is to look on the official Grobag website (cant remember what it is but just search google using grobag and you'll get it).
There you will find all about weight restrictions and details of what the little one should wear based on what temperature the room is.
And for what it's worth, I thoroughly recommend them!

Grobags are wonderful! I put mine in long sleeved tops in the winter (babygros when they were tiny) and either short sleeved pyjama tops or vests in the summer, inside their bags. Grobag make long sleeved legless babygros specially, which are useful in the winter.

There's a link on the mumsnet homepage to "bumpto3" which is the official stockist. There is a minimum weight though I don't remember what it is. I used them from about 3 months and in winter I use a short sleeved babygro and a sleepsuit with a 2.5 tog gro bag.

I put dd in long sleeve vest and babygro when cold, short sleeve vest and baygro when a bit warmer, BUT do have heating coming on for odd hour here and there at night in winter.

I got mine in TKMaxx, £10.00 each-brilliant, just like normal ones.

the proper grobags are easier to use than cheaper versions and are of a more generous size.
ds loves his

I swear by mine.
You can get them usually brand new on ebay and in certain supermarkets, I got one from Asda which was really cheap.
Mamas and Papas do them and I think they have a sale on.
Do you have a Dunhel Mills near you, I have one from there too

My TKMaxx ones are easy to use as well! One zip and two poppers!

I adore grobags and so does my DS but I did find he was rather swamped in them at first and he used to thrash around and get a bit tangled up in the huge bag! I swaddled him for the first few months and he graduated onto grobags at about 12 weeks. They are great, and the little room thermometer is very useful.

Grobag have recentl adapted their 0-6 month grobags so they are suitable from 7lbs.
