clothes for babies in reusables

Bless my dd, she's nearly 6 months and 17 lbs and has a gorgeous chubby bottom and thighs. We have just gone over to reusables at last and I'm struggling with trousers and dungarees (can't be faffed with dresses and tights although may have to if no-one can help) that fit. I have just bought some in the next size up (6-9 months) but they just seem to be longer rather than bigger round the bum. I would also be interested if anyone knows of any fairtrade stuff that isn't prohibitively expensive or shops that aren't too bad in terms of overseas labour (given the recent press on asda, primark etc)

Look at the Greenbaby website.
They have some great stuff.

Cut4cloth drawstring trousers are fab!

another vote for cut4cloth - they are good quality for the price

we had the bootleg trousers for dd, and have had bodysuits too

you could try boys trousers (tesco and H&M are good) - they tend to be more generous in the cut than girls. I also bought the Cut4cloth drawstring trousers - they are the cheapest thing they do (£8.99) and they last ages - DS is still wearing his 18-24 mth ones and he'll be 3 in January

Forget Cut4cloth (apart from the excellent drawstrings which are an essential) - way too pricey and I found their pink combats slimmer fitting than anything I could buy on the high street - v disappointing.

You want Birght Bots. They're on the twinkleontheweb site. THey're an Australian make who also produce washable nappies and training pants.

Cannot recommnend these highly enough!!

Bright Bots trousers etc
