How often do you all bath your baby/toddler and why?

Twice a day for my 8 month old. One before bed, and one in the morning after breakfast. The morning one is mostly to clean him up as it is easier - he hates his face being wiped but tolerates it better as part of a "fun bath" with lots of toys. His favourite food is philedelphia, and he gets it all over him! The bath also makes it more likely he will take his morning nap. He's not a great sleeper.

I don't use any products in the bath water and make sure it isn't too hot, to reduce the chance of skin irritation. We also only shampoo his hair every other day.

The night bath is a key part of his pre bed routine. He really is a rubbish sleeper, and the bath helps.

Every evening after about eighteen months, as part of his bedtime routine. Often just plain water (bubbles 2-3x a week). Hair wash once a fortnight.

Every night on nursery days, more relaxed at the weekend. Never as part of a bedtime routine as DS hated it, so far from relaxing. He only started enjoying playing in the bath from age 3.

Every day as part of the bedtime routine. They're 3 and 5.

Every day. Dd is six and will go and fill the bath if I haven't done it yet and she wants to go. Ds, five months, will cry in the evening if he thinks its bath time because he wants to get in!

We never did the daily bath routine. We did baths whenever seems appropriate - sometimes for cleanliness, sometimes for fun.

9 month old here. Don't have a proper bath, just a baby one and its a faff. Manage either bath or shower every 5 days or so. Was once a week until weaning, find he starts to pong a bit in the neck now! Still just using water. Def not for bedtime, he doesn't need much of a routine there

Most nights. occasionally we skip it if she's really tired out and not too grubby! (Quick wash with a flannel instead on those occasions which she's not keen on)
