Just happened to drive past school and stopped to watch kids at playtime. All running about having fun. Spotted ds with his friends playing some sort of follow my leader game- cheeks flushed, totally engrossed, happy in his group, full of energy. Felt a bit soppy.
Off to eat razors now...

Oh and ds3 (2) singing Twinkle, Twinkle - get this - in Spanish!!!

And I did something daft before adn he said to ds2 - 'silly mummy pig' (he's obsessed with Peppa Pig).

Ah, bless her, my DD was Mary in the school nativity and christingle tonight. Sat there motionless through the whole thing with a dazed expression (her, not me). I was soooo proud!!

On a more prosaic note, DD2 did a wee in my bed.

Gotta love 'em.

ds (2) singing old macdonald at Asda today.

'with a cow cow here and a cow cow there, cow cow cow cow cow cow cow cow'

me 'I think its moo sweetheart'

ds 'no, cow'

Bless him, I love his singing. He's got a good sense of rhythm and we're hoping the in tune bit comes soon

Always melts my heart.

My soppy mother moment today impressed me so much that I had to start a thread about it

DS2 (8) school's christmas concert today. He didn't want to have a starring role as it wasn't 'cool'. When it was over they led the children out and my 'cool' son blew me a kiss infront of his friends

Mine was at 3 year old dd's pre school Christmas show on Friday. Although she's fine with other children and adults she knows, she's painfully shy in new situations or with adults she doesn't know. I was fully expecting her to see the audience and burst into tears. However she was amazing she sung louder than everyone (the last word of every line she shouted pmsl) got all the actions spot on and looked adorable. When she'd finished the teacher said to me " We won't ever say she's shy again she totally came through" this made me so proud especially when dd said "Mummy I sung loudly because I wanted you to hear me. 1 year old ds also made me melt as he was clapping her and shouting "Hiya".

My DD has been only been crawling for a few days and she crawled over to me on the sofa, climbed up my leg to standing and held her arms up for a cuddle with a HUGE smile.
