Hi all

I have a 9 week old DD and I have been using pampers nappies since she was born- they are fine they don't make her sore or anything but I find there is a strong chemical smell off of them. So was wondering if I could get some opinions of what people thought the best disposable brand is?

I'm expecting DC1 in 7 weeks so have got a couple of packs of Pampers newborn in (currently bogof in Sainsburys) and bought a few packs of Aldi Mamia when I was near one over Christmas. I hear there may be an Aldi baby event on 28th Jan so might make a trip to my nearest one to stock up on some more. Not sure how many packs of Size 1 to get? I've got 3 already, and 2 (bigger) packs of size 2. How long would an 'average' sized baby be in size 1? There seems to be a big overlap between the weight ranges recommended, so would I be better getting more size 2?

Pug I would be inclined to buy more in size 2, my baby was only in size 1 for 3/4 weeks and we then had a massive surplus of size 1 left over. But then I do have big babies so that might have been why 😄

I loooooove the chemically smell Grin we use reuasbles but loved the pampers smell while away over Xmas! Can't comment on other brands, sorry!

I find waitrose own brand nappies really good, otherwise Boots own brand.

What I've found is different ones are best at different ages/sizes. I loved the tesco nappies until my DS grew a bit and then they stopped fitting his shape.
