my dh and i are arguing about whether our 2 year old dd or 5 month old dd should sit in the top seat of a phil and teds e3, (when set up with two seats, obviously!) any ideas anyone?

i would say the older one should be at the top and lay baby flat in bottom, i had one and didnt put lo sitting up in it till she was 7 months

Older (or heavier) child needs to go on the front seat to balance out the weight. Hope this solves your argument.

you are supposed to put the smaller one in the rear seat and the heavier one in the front...

but i didn't like it like that - i think you should put the younger one in the front (so it can be reclined/they can sleep) as that seat has much more support.
Put the older one in the back - they love that seat closer to the ground.

Just watch out if you take the younger one out as it can tip up with all the weight in the back!

twickersmum- you cant lie the top seat back hun if they both as seats they are both static

course you can.
the bottom seat is the "hard" one - the extra seat you buy.
the top seat is the flat bit (when they were babies) folded up and zipped up.
just unzip it to recline it...
