3 wheeler or 4 wheeler pram?

I'm looking at the xpedior four pram which comes in both four wheels and three the four wheeler wheels look awful but the three wheeler wheels look so better made but online it saids the 3 wheeler can be unsafe I have to use public transport alot of the time and aparantly the three wheelers are alot harder any help would be great

I've never seen the point of 3 wheel ones

I have a Quinny and a Phil and Teds both of which are 3 wheelers. I don't drive so use public transport a lot and it's always been fine but I don't really see any specific advantage to 3 wheels-if anything they have smaller baskets.

4 wheels much easier on escalators-going up you can go on forwards and hold weight of pram with back wheels in mid air iyswim. If you have 3 wheels the same scenario is very wobbly.

With 3 wheelers and escalators you just reverse it on and balance it on the back two wheels.
I have a Mountain Buggy Swift (3 wheels) and I agree with a pp about the basket being tiny. I haven't found mine to be unstable and I use it around town and on woodland walks. I would have thought if anything, on uneven ground specifically 3 wheels would be more stable for the same reason you never get a wobbly 3-legged stool?

I have a nipper, it is fantastic. I love it more than my bugaboo cam. With three wheels you just need to remember to use the back wheels for going up and down things. It's only wobbly when you rest all the weight on the front wheel.

I've got a 3 wheel Quinny Zapp and while I quite like it, I'm not entirely sure I'd recommend it. It's very good for older DC when you're just legging it somewhere in a rush, as it's very light and easy to push. However it's equally easy to tip IME, there's no basket as standard, and if you hang anything on the back it tips even easier than usual.
