Get it off your chest! No judgement here.

I let DS (18 months) watch/play with the iPad during most meals as it makes mealtimes so much easier.

Almost given up on vegetables. DS5 is almost 6 and eats lots of fruit, and will eat carrots, a few peas, a bit of sweet potato, and chickpeas, but green leafy useful stuff - not at all. On the grounds that I was the fussiest eater imaginable at his age and now eat most things, and that he has fruit and a vit/min supplement, I am trying not to lose sleep over it.

Also, I am pretty lazy about washing his hair. I cut his toenails while he sleeps rather than assert sufficient parental authority to just get it done (he hates it). After school telly has crept from 30 mins to 45 mins to an hour.

We started off very well by having all meals at the table, but DS frequently now eats breakfast in front of the tv, especially at weekends.

My DS is 2.10 and still has a bottle at night. Ditto DD at 1.7. 90% of the time I wait the mandatory half an hour and brush their teeth after but sometimes I don't and DH is a dentist Blush. SIL is a dentist and Shock. But she doesn't have any DC! I am 35 weeks pregnant and fucking knackered though

Probably too much TV. Yesterday they sat in their high chairs and watched CBeebies for 45 minutes whilst I cleaned the kitchen. We have builders on who keep leaving the front door open so it's really hard to supervise and tidy up

I sometimes leave DD in her cot after her sleep if she's not crying even though I can hear her talking to herself. I should probably have her up and be doing educational activities.

I'm not sure I play with DS enough. He's perfectly happy pottering on his own but I feel guilty that I'm not doing structured activities. Ditto DD.

Overall, I'm not a very good parent

Lots of these but dc1 4 still has a bottle at night . . .

When dc2 2 yrs came along I just decided it was one battle I wasn't going to have Shock

At some point they might stop Grin
