Nursery and toilet training

Started toilet training DS a couple of months ago - all went very smoothly. we were still having the odd poo accident, but no wee accidents for a few weeks and mostly dry through the night for the last couple of weeks.
This week he's started in a new nursery. He's settled in really well. Has been going in happily, playing happily when I've picked him up. He says he likes the new nursery.
But yesterday he just refused to go on his potty and weed in his pants 4 times (2 at home, 2 at nursery), he also did 2 poos in his pants. Pretty much the same today.
I was feeling really smug happy about how easy this potty training had been, but now I really don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Just persevere. He's had a big change, starting at nursery. How is he coping with the toilet at Nursery?

Totally normal for children to regress when going through transitions
Also for some children they need to feel some sort of control to help them with growing up. Main areas are eating, sleeping and toileting.
Subconsciously they are exercising control in the only way they can
He just needs time to get used to the new nursery. Just ride it out and he will be fine. I would they not to make a bug deal of it, don't scold or make him feel bad about it
Come back in a few weeks time and let us know how he is getting on.

He was fine at his old nursery, and at settling in sessions, But yesterday and today, they said when they've asked he's just said he didn't need the potty and then just wet himself. That's also what's happened at home.

Thanks for your replies. It's frustrating because I know he can do it. I'm trying really hard not to show it. I keep saying it doesn't matter, it's just an accident, etc but I do wish he'd stop weeing on my floor Sad
