I apologise for the graphic nature of this thread but I am really concerned.

My dd is 18 months old and about from a max. of half a dozen times she doesn't have a solid poo.

It still looks very much like a newborn babies poo. Its even got that yellow colour. It smells really bad too. MIL (mother of 6) says they the worse nappies she's had to change

Dd still drinks a pint of milk a day and eats alot of fruit. Shes not a big eater but what she does eat is healthy.

Should I be concerned?

I don't know the answer to your question but I would take her to the GP.

ds was like this and I think in retrospect I should have taken him to the GP to be sure.

Lio when did your ds stop suffering with the problem?

Rather uselessly, dh and I can't remember, but we are pretty sure it was a bit before his second birthday.

Thanks for the information.

I'm going to try and reduce the amount of milk shes drinking (attempt to get her to drink water instead). Hopefully with less milk she will eat more food.

If there's no improvement in a few weeks I will take her to the doc.

Pale, smelly and light coloured stools can suggest an allergy or intolerance of some sort - I'd just take her now and get it sorted before the NHS grinds to a halt over the Xmas period.
