Help me with baby clothes

So DD (4 months) has gone and grown again. Her length has never been measured (I'm not sure how on earth you would keep her still enough!) but compared to all the clothes she has she is very long. Can anyone recommend a brand of clothes for long babies with big feet? Outfits aren't too much of a problem, but I am struggling with getting babygros for her, that don't squish her poor feet! I have tried going up a size, but then the rest of her is swamped....

Just buy full length rompers without feet and put socks on her.

I have a long child too. Found M&S and Next to be good for length.

Boots and Sainsburys and Primark not great for us.

I've found m&s babygrows long, at least in older ages. I hadn't had any from there before - dd is 10 months and in all other clothes has fitted in 9-12 months for ages but the m&s babygrows are still long and she's a fairly tall girl!

Proper pj might be ok in this weather?

THanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look at M&S. She gets socks off, but we might have to go down the footless route. I've tried next, which are good on length in the body but the feet are super tiny!

H&M seem very generous (in general, not sure about length- my son is very short). They also do footless all-in-ones.
Babygrows only ever fit babies that are in proportion. I wouldn't have used them if they weren't so darn cute. (my 20mo son has the feet of a 3yo, the weight of a 2yo and the height of a 12mo.)

Matalan, M&S are good and realistically sized for my long baby, Asda and Debenhams in the next size up.

We had the same problem with DS and ended up getting baby PJs with feet - vertbaudet have some lovely ones

Asda and Debenhams are a no no for long babies.

Our very long 4 month DD does well in Next stuff

Morrisons stuff is really long. My 3 month old DD is just Ok in next length wise in 3-6 but morrisons ones are much longer.

DS is long with big feet and we've found sainsburys the best for babygros. Asda & Morrisons come up small. John Lewis and mothercare were also good but more expensive. He only ever fitted in the John Lewis newborn size, he was out of all the others when he was born.

It's hard to make generalisations about supermarkets because they'll buy in clothes from different factories. I've got two sets of babygrows from Morrison's that are completely different sizes and styles; when you look at the labels they're made in different countries. Not sure if the same is true of high street shops!

H&M baby clothes are for babies off the scale (literally, I checked their size guide length for age against the growth chart and their measurements are for babies on about 110% on the percentiles).

John Lewis baby stuff is also really long.

Sweet I found the same with Tesco.

Weirdly though my 4th percentile baby touches the bottom of most baby grows relatively quickly and almost everyone I know has this issue regardless of brand.

Thanks all. It's the feet we have real problems with, so I guess I am just going to need to suck it up and keep putting her socks back on!

Get some sock-ons from Amazon, they're about £3 a pair. I still have not lost a sock thanks to these things, and ds is 7 months!

For sleeping try baby bundler from John lewis as they don't have feet. Less faff than baby gros too.
For socks but some soft shoes/pram shoes to put over the socks.

Footless rompers, Boots do loads. DS had big feet. At first I cut the feet off his babygrows, seven years later the feet are still in my sewing box.

I have ordered some sock ons, hopefully that will keep her toes warm a. D we can give up on babygrows!
