Mumnesia/baby brain: daft things you've done during or after pregnancy

This morning, I forgot again to go to an appointment. It was in my diary, I remembered it as little as two whole days ago, yet somehow when the day came I just completely forgot. Until the polite yet (understandably) slightly peeved email came asking if I'd got lost on the school run. I burst into tears (its been one of those weeks).

I have two DCs (4 and 1) and seem to have lost my mind. I didn't have bad baby brain until after DS (the elder one) arrived. Then, I excelled myself by "losing" a pint of milk for several days before locating it in the cupboard under the sink? I say milk, it was cheese/yoghurt by then.

Recently, my sleep quota has got a bit better (mainly because I've given in and now sleep on a mattress on the floor of DD's room so I don't have to wake up when she wants feeding). But the baby brain hasn't gone away and I'm a teeny bit concerned it never will.

What completely out of character/incomprehensible things has anyone else done (trying to make myself feel better)?

Haha so funny reading these so glad I'm not the only one loosing the plot!

I filled my car up with petrol went in to pay and totally forgot my pin had to ring DH to ask him what it was the big que of people behind me were not impressed lol

I was suppose to go on a tour of the maternity unit at local hospital and totally forgot about it until the next day! I rang to apologise and the midwife was really nice she said people forget all the time haha she must be use to it by now

I also gave my DH a bowl of weetabix the other morning however they were covered with tea bags instead of milk he just looked at me as if I was crazy yet I had no idea what the problem was lol
