Fantastic alternative to Bunny alarm clock for toddlers/young children

I bought the Bunny alarm clock - you know the one where the clock has a rabbit's face and his eyes are closed when he is alseep and the alarm you set wakes him up so your wee one knows when it is ok to get out of bed???
We had problems because my son has black out blind and curtains and couldn't see the bunny's face and the clunk it made when the bunny "woke up" actually woke my son so we returned it.
We have now just bought this one
www.arf-kids.co.uk/
it is illuminated pictures so we think it is far better, it is also a nightlight for younger children with a different picture disc and an audio alarm for when they are older.
Just thought I would post and let you know there is an alternative.

Thats very cute actually. But its £35
ds1 got a normal alarm clock for his birthday this week; it actually woke him up as opposed to him being up before it, but he was happy... 'hello, awake, awake, oh its daytime' What a first!

I know it is certainly not cheap but I figured £35 for a lie in at the weekend, it is worth it. I am now a SAHM but £35 was like 5 weeks worth of cappuchinos when I worked so I could justify it

I didn't want him waking at a particular time but wanted a time that was reasonable and anything after that would be bliss.

My son is 3.5 and I have a 6 month old so I plan to pass it on!!!

sounds good ...
but the bunny alarm clock works a treat for us - so it's a case of 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'

however will keep it in mind for if some reason circumstances change!
