Nappy at nap time?

DD is about to have her nap. I presume I should put her in a nappy.

She went into big knickers today unexpectidly. I forgot to put her nappy on when we went out. No problems whilst out and a little wee in her trousers when we got back which led to a poo on her potty. Really pleased.

Just really proud

Also what happens on long journeys and they suddenly want to go whilst on the motorway for example?

at the start I put dd in a pull up nappy for naps and long car journeys. After a few months we left the nappy off for naps and she only had 1 accident. Re: car journeys - I always made sure she went to the toilet before we left. (she can go hours between pees though and has never had an accident in the car)

invest in some pampes care mats to put in the buggy / on the car seat.

then if theres an accident u just wip the mat off and dont have to wash and dry and reinstall car seat before next journey!

also keep a spare change of clothes / pampers mats in the car!

most children do still need a nappy / pull-up etc for a while during nap time

as long as its put on immediatly before bed and removed as soon as they wake it shouldnt cause too much confusion!

Hi there,
My DS is nappy-free at home, although I tend to stick one on him to go out and he isn't dry at night yet. However, he is dry during naps and as long as I make sure he gets to the potty straight after his nap (as soon as he wakes up and stops being grumpy ) he doesn't need a nappy.
I think, she would probably be fine, just catch her when she wakes up.

Hi
If you have a problem, why not try some cotton trainer pants. They'll protect from an accident but as they are cotton she'll be able to feel if she's done anything. They also pull-up like real pants.
