And if so what have you put in them?

I was accused of being a bit OTT with mine...so wondered if anyone else was like me!!

I only have a small box and not much in it so far but we have a load of films clips and photos which Dh organised into two dvds one for birth to a year old and one for the second year of ds's life.

Each dvd is orgnaised into a little film that tells the story of ds's life so far in chronological order with music and captions and clips of first steps, first smile etc (wherever we managed to get it on film anyway). They last about 10mins each and my parents and IL's have love getting them as a Cristmas present. Ds likes watching them too now.

I think we'll do a third year one but after that it will just be as and when we have enough material. We will also make sure we include clips of grandparents and us etc so that when ds is older and we are not around any more he will have then to look at to remind him of where he came from.

I do have a box of stuff too but only have his first shoes, first birthday cards (some of them)and a lock of hair so far. I have kept other stuff (hospital notes, scans etc) but those are in other places not in his box, I never really thought of putting them in there up until now.
