I read on another thread that someone was giving their DC water at a fee weeks old. DD is 4months old and I haven't given her any, should I have? I had no idea that I should be.

Thank you.

I started giving ds water when he started having solids so 5 months three weeks. I don't think it's necessary at all if a baby's bf and only if it's very, very hot if a baby's ff.

We started giving water at 6 months as per nhs guidelines (ff). After food generally

Ds1 had boiled cooled water at a few weeks old because he was thirsty, I was out at a hospital appt and MIL is a nurse who felt he needed a drink. We have filtered water anyway so I wasn't bothered. It didn't do him any harm.
