Nursery rhymes that won't drive me bonkers?

Can anyone recommend a nursery rhymes cd that won't drive me mad? I am looking for one where the music hasn't been made by computers, but actual instruments.

I have a cd in Dutch where a former 80's pop group has started doing nursery rhymes and it's quite a cheery cd that I don't mind listening to.

Our favourites are:

FunKey Rhymes - by a group of West End musicals musicians. Great arrangements, real singers and an orchestra.

Shake, Rattle and Roll (Helena Perry) - more Folk Songs than nursery rhymes. Tuning a bit off at times, but good singers and real instruments and really lovely songs that are not so well known but have become firm favourites in our house.

Zootopia. Synthesised music and has a bit of a retro 80s feel to it, but really good singers and totally original and catchy songs, each on a different topic and about different animals - lovely themes for children.

Think all are available on iTunes and probably the actual CDs are on Amazon or do a bit of googling.

Think there's one by They Might Be Giants. There's some on YouTube as well, will try to find a link

Colours are brighter - lots of artists, fabulous songs
Calico Pie - Lovely traditional nursery rhymes sung by an Irish guy with a guitar and I think there is some trumpet too - also stuff like Blake and Shakespeare set to music.

You do know you are allowed to listen to whatever you like?

Rocking rolling riding by the seekers- possibly not actual title but you'll find it from that.
Octopuses garden- Beatles? All songs I had growin up that I only recently realised were real songs!

music, real singing. Some familiar songs but some I hadn't heard before too!

I also like Disney but those two genres of music are in no way related!!!

I used to work for a kids entertainment company in nottingham called bongo-bongo. We did a CD of nursery rhymes by local bands, and it should be still available on the website, called the incy-wincy boom box. look out for the punk version of 'here we go looby-loo'....

Would you mind telling me what the dutch one you mentioned is called?

Wally Whyton is good. Just singing and guitar. Pretty chilled.

I like Nick Cope's music. Some are pitched at older kids (about 4yrs ish?) but they're all good humoured and on subjects that really appeal - pirates, babies pooing, dogs eating soap - as well as being educational - gravity, the water cycle, counting in French... All the songs are just him on his guitar with minimal accompaniment so are gentle and easy listening but not repetitive or samey.
Just google Nick Cope. He has a view you can watch on YouTube and the CDs areavailable on his website.

Sadly not a CD or DVD, but if you google nursery rhyme tv, their YouTube channel is great. Sometimes I let my babies watch when I really, really need 15 minutes for a cup of tea.

Other times I play the music and we sing along together with the screen hidden.
