I'm currently in bed with d&v and a fever whilst DH looks after ds1 aged 8 weeks. I'm pretty sure ds will get it so I'm after any advice on how to look after him if and when he does.
thanks!

Poor you, hope you feel better soon. Your DS night not get it, I had 3 sickness bugs when my DS was little, first when he was 6 weeks, and he didn't get any of them.

If he does main thing I think is making sure he doesn't get dehydrated - Google sickness in baby or something like that and look at the NHS site for info, signs to watch out for etc.

In terms of jabs, they won't do them if he's ill, mine had a cold so they did them 2 weeks later.

Hope you feel better soon and your DS doesn't get it.

You poor thing Flowers fingers crossed he will be fine. My DD has never caught anything from me, it's always the other way around Wink

I would postpone jabs. You will be contagious 48 hours after your symptoms disappear, and GP surgeries are breeding grounds. Hope you feel better ASAP

Are you breastfeeding him? If so I think you create antibodies to the bug you have which are passed on to him in the breast milk so if he does get it, it should be milder for him.
