Do they do a good job? Do they leak? Do you ever get offers on them or get a better deal buying in bulk? Have heard they are great at preventing nappy rash and are obviously eco friendly. Really keen to hear about them from real people before I buy them.

Anybody tried them?

I've used them before when I was in the Lake District on holiday and the only nappies they had in Booth was Naty ones Grin

They were decent. I like the eco friendly thing. I don't remember them being any better than the pampers I usually use though. The nappy bags are fabulous! I usually have to double or triple bag a poo but one was more than enough with the Naty bags. I have just finished the roll and I'm sad about it Sad

I used these with all three of my children and they are superb. Unlike many others I tried, didn't have leaks and I really liked the fact they didn't smell plasticky like normal nappies. I wasn't quite prepared to go down the non-disposable route and these were a good alternative.

I've used Natys for DS since birth. No problems with leaking unless I was a bit slow moving up to the next size, and DS has never had nappy rash apart from the few times I tried different
-cheaper- brands. I also like the Eco aspect as I was too lazy for cloth Grin

There are no facilities in the UK where they can decompose. They go into landfill like all the other disposable nappies.

I like the idea of them but they don't have as much give as our regular nappies and they always seem tight on ds. Saying that I only use them ever so often as that is what my parents had left over from my nephews visit 2 years ago and we are trying to finish the bag!

I would be interested to see how they cope over night as ds often leaks!

makeminea6x · 21/03/2015 19:43

They were the best eco ones I've tried but you can only get them from Boots where I live and I got sick and tired of going in there and them only having one pack in the size I wanted. So I went to Aldi nappies instead!

They do come up a bit small I think.

Pimmsoclocknow · 21/03/2015 19:48

Used them on two children. Brilliant never leak etc. Waitrose and sainsbury sell them

Mamab33 · 22/03/2015 06:49

Thanks. Any tips on special offers on them?

Amazon sell bidet packs witho offers.
Big Green Smile also do good deals, especially if you can order other eco stiff to bring the order up to £50 for free postage.

FunnyBird · 22/03/2015 07:23

Mamab33 · 22/03/2015 10:44

Thanks FunnyBird. Love the "bidet" packs!

They didn't work for us at all for newborn poo, leaks everywhere! They also didn't last overnight very well.

BiscuitsofYum · 23/03/2015 21:23

Dp took one off a squirmy toddler we was babysitting.. He went to pull at the top, misses and pulled a little lower than the waist band and thing ripped and sent the stupid inside crystal bits everywhere was a nightmare to clean then up..

Bigbadgeorge · 23/03/2015 21:26

Good but expensive!

westcountrywoman · 23/03/2015 21:27

We loved them. We mainly used cloth but these were our disposable nappies of choice. I either bulk bought on Amazon (not always the cheapest, so check before you buy) or they used to often appear in 3-for-2 offers in Boots or Waitrose.

SoMuchForSubtlety · 23/03/2015 21:34

We get them from amazon, if you have prime / amazon family they're even cheaper.

I really like them, they smell and feel less plasticky than other brands we've tried. DD only gets nappy rash when she's teething, we've not had any big problems in that regard. And they've been good from an effectiveness perspective, although they don't cope with a poo in a wet nappy very well (like most nappies).

They do come up small though (we had to size up when DD was smaller), and if you have a heavy wetter they don't last the night; we use pampers baby dry in the + size overnight, DD wees through absolutely everything else.

SignoraStronza · 23/03/2015 21:37

I used to find the bloody tabs came off in my hands, rendering a v. expensive nappy useless. Perhaps am just a bit too gung ho?!Blush

SoMuchForSubtlety · 23/03/2015 21:39

We had some issues with that for a while too Signora. They seem to have improved lately.

Mamab33 · 25/03/2015 20:31

Good to know. Will look into Amazon Prime and family.

They are on offer at the moment in Waitrose, 20% off, so great value! I've stocked up Smile

OneFlewOverTheMumsNest · 09/04/2015 17:06

I know this is a couple of weeks old but if you're still looking these nappies are on offer at sainsburys now. 2 packs of newborn size for £6.

I used them with dd until we moved over to reusables at a couple of weeks. I'll be using them again with this baby for the hospital bag and until the meconium clears out.

Zumbia33 · 08/05/2019 11:07

Soft, excellent fit, works just perfectly overnight, no leaks. The reason why I tried those is that they’re biodegradable and chemical free. I’m currently using another biodegradable and chemical free brand, which I’m very happy with. I wanted to test these as they’re much cheaper and available in my local supermarket.

BSIlyas · 22/09/2019 16:42

Tried the eco by Naty nappies based on the reviews here but found them to leak through terribly. We had to change to Rascal and Friends which are much better nappies and don't leak.
