How would you describe a child that was pandered to? What sort of things would parents or carers do,to make the child pandered to?tia

Cook the child what it wants to eat. Buy it the toys it wants. Etc.

Why?

Surely all children are pandered to, to some extent. That's part of parenting!
Pandering includes those things that are slightly more than your very basic requirement.

I would say lacking a "line" where you say no (or gentle parenting equivalent ) for their own good. Eg. child wants chocolate biscuits for lunch, child wants to play not do homework.

I suppose specific examples would depend on the childs age but as others have said, being allowed to do as they please regardless of what's good for them/polite etc.
