As soon as they can sit up unaided, I'd say. If they don't enjoy it, stop.

Dd was on as soon as she could reliably hold her head with the motion - 4 months Ish! Pulled her arms gently to make the swing go. A friend put the change bag behind her back so wasn't so loose in the swing - genius!

Even now at 1 year,

There is also a big round net swing that she could lie in which she loves. No age limit for that one imo.

Oh to be fair dd was sitting with support at 4 months so I guess as soon as they can sit without slipping down.

if they can hold their head well and sit with support you can wedge them in a bit and obv don't go very high and see if they like it.

I used our garden one from 5 months, but it is a fully supported version and he loves it, still use it most days 1 yr later.

They tend to list gently to the side and start to lick/chew the chain or bar at that age. Depends on how PFB you are really ? Grin
