Hi-I really need some advise!
recently bought size 2 fluffles (nippas) to use for my dd who's just over 12lbs now, but have found them to be very bulky (her legs are WIDE apart ) she is quite long and thin though! When I was researching I read that they were quite bulky but thought as she was thin it'd be less obvious but it seems to be the opposite!
Do you think I just need to wait a while and persevere with these or should I try the bamboozles as they are less bulky? Or something else completely?
I'm getting so confused now and starting the get the 'I told you so's' from people who think I?m crazy for wanting to use re-usable! I really want to prove them wrong!

Wambamboos here too with fluffles for those "I really need a fat squishy bum look" days

Sorry, for got to say that I got my folds from the Nappy Lady

I use the Jo fold with 78cm terries (large toddler ones) for my 15month old who is about 29lbs.

No problems with radiator drying here... Someone (dunno if it was here on on washabums) was saying that if you just ruff up the pile a bit that the nippa issue isn't a problem anyway. I dunno.

Thats the website I couldn't remember the name of - washabums - think she is Jo of the Jo fold - sorry if wrong! So would be worth going onto her site for terry fold advice - I like the triple fold on newborns then the Jo fold as they get a bit bigger as they terry comes up higher in the rise and slimmer round the hips.

I find the Sandy's by Motherease a great all rounder and fairly slim fitting. Lovely and absorbant as well as being very well-made and durable.

Have just ordered some more rainbow bamboozles and am also getting a couple of tots new wraps - thought i'd give them another go as they now have leg gussets; have been tempted away from ordering another Motherease wrap by the lovely new prints. Has anyone tried them yet? Bamboozles are great, very reliable and i pop in a fleece-topped booster for night. Love them, esp. the fab new colours.

Sammysam,

www.kittikins.co.uk has a great section on advice re how to fold terries, and also how to choose between different nappies based on your needs, lifestyle. There is a calculator for how many nappies you need as well based on drying times etc
