DS keeps pooing in the pool

PLease help the last 4 times we have been swimming DS 21m has pooed in the pool. His poos aren't what you'd call formed so leak everywhere! Result is the pool has to be evacuated for 15mins and I'm starting to get nasty looks off the staff as they have to fish out the more obvious lumps. Are our swimming days over or is there something we could do? Please help. Thanks Dink

is it the same time? can you change your swimming times? dd3 is a morning poo-er. dd2 was an evening one, made bath times interesting lol.

Can you tell when he's about to do it? DS2 had a habit for a while of poohing in the pool (he was younger than yr ds IIRC) but he was wearing fab Kooshies swim nappies which would hold it in - I would realise (from his face) what was happening and hastily get out and sort it.

Wear disposable swimming pants underneath something like Kooshies?

He is not a regular pooer except when we go swimming. And he still managed to sneak one out when both me and my friend were watching him. He's not obvious

OK that could be an idea disposable under washable. Think I'll get DH to try it! Although DH reckons he doesn't do it with him

rather pricey but a "happy nappy" is surposed to hold it allin. They are complusory for pre trained users of our hydrotherapy pool. have big neoprene bands at leg holes and waist.

Dinker · 19/10/2006 18:33

Where can I get those then Unisarah? Are they widely avaliable?

I don't have one - can't afford the lessons at that pool.. but I put happy nappy into google a while back and found them fairly easily, think you need to mail order them tho, havn't seen any in shops.
