Is teething worse at night??

I've posted before about my dd being very unsettled at night. She was cutting 4 top teeth but they are all through now. We are still having the nights from hell though.
Dd will go to bed no problem but a few hours later ( usually as we are just going to bed) the screaming starts and it takes a while to calm her down. Sometimes she's very hot especially her face and cheeks , they are bright red but no temperature but very distressed. During the day she's her happy smily self, just at night she like this.

Is this teething still?? Please tell me there is light at the end if the tunnel. We've had disturbed sleep for weeks now, waking every few hours.

I remember someone telling me that teething tends to be worse at night, as they don't have all the distractions of the day to take away from the pain and discomfort. Which I guess makes sense, if you think about how adults act when feeling unwell, we tend to plough on through the day, just get on with things, then come night time, we crash and feel worse, and really have the time to notice how awful we are feeling. Hope it improves soon though!
