Brushing baby's teeth.

My 6 month old has two front teeth. Am I supposed to be brushing them? My baby brush says from 10 months and any toothpaste I have seen is not suitable for babies this young.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes you should be. You can buy kids toothpaste that says 0-2yrs on it. And super soft toothbrushes.

Yup we brushed teeth as soon as she had them, gets them used to it too. You can get baby toothpaste and brushes. We've found it a good part of her morning and bedtime routine and she seems to like it!

Yep, apparently you start as soon as they get teeth. I'd buy a new toothbrush and toothpaste for babies. Im not sure how much effect it has but I suppose it's good to get into the habit.

Thanks. Would you use a brush baby at this age. Even if it says from 10 months on the packet.

No. I wouldn't. It probably says 10 months because they use it themselves under supervision. I'd just get an appropriate toothbrush that you control. You can get everything from a supermarket. Colgate do a toothbrush and paste that are specifically designed for babies upto age 2.
