Okay, I feel like I'm a big baby. But I have a puke phobia...which is not good w two young kids! Argh. Anyway, my 15 month old ds did not want to eat dinner and had a little yogurt (normally he wants two pots!) and didn't want his milk at first. I knew something was up, but before bed gave him some, which he drank 4 ounces. But then I put him in bed and he threw it all up. He is sleeping now, but if he wakes in the night, do I offer just water? In the morning do I give him milk as normal and try breakfast? Or just water? I'm worried if he throws up again. I really hope he is better by morning. He was playing as usual tonight. Smiling etc. only change was no appetite. Im not sure hat to do....

My ds did this the other night. He didn't want his dinner which is very unusual, had around 4-5 oz of his bedtime bottle then promptly threw it up all over his cot. He didn't seem otherwise distressed, no temperature or unusual crying and he went straight off to sleep when we'd sorted his bed out for him. He was fine in the morning. I had a very restless night checking on him though and had he woken I think I'd have tried him with water first then milk if he wouldn't take it. My original plan was to let him sleep with us but oh thought he was fine, and he was right.
Just take it as it comes, keep an eye on him and check his temperature. With any luck you'll just have a hungry boy in the morning.

Thanks for your response. I hope he is okay and back to normal by morning. I checked on him and he was sleeping just fine. And exactly as you describe. No temp etc. I hate it when kids are sick.
