Wife is expecting our first baby in 2 weeks and we have bought everything we need.

We are interested to know if there is any one thing in particular you bought that helped you through those first few months? Anything special that kept the baby amused/helped out you?

Top tip: for all toys, seats, jumpers etc check out gumtree first/nct nearly new sales. I wasted so much money first time round. Smile

I wish I'd had one of those fugly swinging seats. eBay, Gumtree and Facebook weren't around when I had mine and by the time I realised I could put the darling down without him screaming blue murder he was too old to justify shelling out for one

Oh and congratulations!!!!!

Lots and lots of tops for mum. Leaky tits and baby vomit were a continual thing for me Hmm
