Just wondering as my 13 month old doesn't really play with any one thing but likes to empty everything and then put it back again so I guess thats her fave thing :)

Dd is 14 months and so far her favourite toys are her mega bloks, she will sit and build them for hours!

Shape sorters, books and puzzles.

As a non toy, doors, lights, switches DVD cases.

His fave thing to do is open and close doors he is now 18 months and has been enjoying this for at least 8 months Grin

Shape sorter, stacking cups and his B. Snug Bugs are his favourite toys but what he really loves are the remote controls, mobile phones, landline phone, OH s glasses, laptops, anything he can pull out of a drawer, keys, electrical sockets, teacups and "stuff he's not allowed". Starting to feel like all of that Christmas expenditure was a waste of money when he'd be just as happy with the contents of my handbagSmile!!

I second phones and remote controls. Ds have broken the screen of 1 iPhone and 1 iPad already. He waits by the door for my handbag :) x

DD has a baby doll that she quite likes...she doesn't play with it as such but likes holding it, sort of cuddling it and taking its hat off. She's 13 months. She also likes building blocks but again just to carry/bash together. Books, especially flap ones are popular too.

However in line with other people her favourites are things she's not meant to play with especially phones, although the cases seem just as popular. Unpacking my purse keeps her happy for hours (all actual money removed first). Also, a bizarre obsession with coasters Confused

Keys.

But, if the poor little mite (DD 16mo) is temporarily denied access to the keys, she will potter about with her doll, Happyland people, pretend cooking things and bouncy balls, amongst other things.

She also LOVES stickers, as well as 'sorting' a tub of glittery craft pom-poms and big sequinny things.

Mainly, though, it's all about the keys Grin

DS lived one of those wooden push-long animals on a stick, the front panel from the Vtech walker and a cheap plastic digger. Non-toy wise, he spent hours playing with a box of plastic picnic plates.
