....I was getting worried about 6 week old DS's crying and wind all evening, wondering whether he had colic or just wind and whether this was normal. I was going to post a thread but looked at other ones first.

Now, not only do I know that he is completely normal (lots of other mums suffering) but I have lots of useful tips for helping with his wind. Thanks everyone!

P.S. Also love DH because he is feeding the boy, allowing me time to go on mumsnet!

hang on, is he being sick every feed and how much? it might be worth trying to keep diary and showing your doc as dd had something similar and it's called reflux. the way we thought of it was (while fighting docs to get her referred ) how do we feel when we're being sick? especially when it's acidic. the thing is, it burns our throats on the way up and soemtimes dd used to swallow it before we could help her be sick. it then burned her throat on the way back down - it's called silent reflux. hows things tonight and this past week?
