Composting Moltex and/or Nature nappies?

I'm also posting this on the environment board, so apologies if you are reading this for a second time... It follows on quite nicely from the question earlier about burning nappies.

Number two is on his/her way in the next fortnight, so we'll be using disposables until we work out which way is up again.

I recall reading somewhere that Moltex and/or Nature nappies could be composted at home. We've got a nice new compost bin, but I was wondering whether anyone had actually tried this, and if so, what the results were like. I just don't like the idea of fishing them out again in a huge lump a month or two down the line if they don't break down well!

Looks like we'll be contributing to more landfill, then! And wait until someone develops a turbo-powered worm.

With fantastic timing, we are just switching to fortnightly instead of weekly bin collections - just as the baby is due!

Little Green Earthlets are selling new improved Moltex - just got their catalogue this morning. 50% of the nappy and the gel is now biodegradable. I think the main thing about Moltex is at least they're trying to be environmentally aware, which is more than can be said for other manufacturers [shudder emoticon]
