So, yesterday I was shopping with dmum. Large shopping centre so huge range. Noticed again that boys clothes are so limiting - little monster, here's trouble.
When looking for christmas tops I was really surprised by H and M - one boys top with a monster riding a reindeer nowcompared to about a zillsnowflakes, glittery, pretty, sweet tips fo I know I can just buy them anyway for the boys but why not make some more unisex nice things, or

Personally I think the girls choice is so limited to pink that it is disgraceful. Much prefer shopping in the boys section, might be less choice but at least it's not all baby doll pink!

I totally agree with albert - since having dd I've been dismayed at how difficult it is to find non pink and frilly girls clothes!

I've always liked sainsbos for DS (3yrs) and find their children's clothes good quality too (but their baby stuff definitely shrinks). Otherwise H&M are good. Even POP is getting a bit genderised I thought last time I was in there...

When DS was younger I remember buying christmas t shirt from mothercare, ASda are good. I didn't like H &M much till Ds was about 6

Felixtilting your comment made me laugh out loud.

I have just sorted out DS tops as he has grown out them all and he was gutted some didn't fit and cheered at others , despite them sitting in his draw refusing to wear Hmm

Menswear is generally pretty limited.

That is definitely true. I am also having a hard time, everytime I shop clothes for boys in stores. Sometimes, I wanted the same top for a girl and a boy, but doesn't always get it. There is usually a vast collection for girls, but limited displays for the boys. That's the reason why I go to some stores that personalize clothes for the kids.

My ds is only 1 but I like Asda, Sainsbury's and Next for him as they all seem to do nice stuff without logos on and I find the quality good.

I know that some places stock far more girls clothes than boys though (our local Tesco for example! )

Love this thread. Yes yes. Dp dressed ds today and was striped head to toe.

I quite often buy bright coloured leggings from the girls section for him.

I also love Sainsbury's for boy's clothes. DS has had some lovely tops from there when I get the chance to go. Everything is excellent quality in there as well, similar prices to Asda but the Asda near me is relatively small and seems to stock mostly character clothing which is fine, but I don't want his whole wardrobe full of it. Sainsbury's seems to have a decent mix of characters and less garish stuff but I don't have one near me so don't use it often.
