Girl, 13 months adores and uses constantly brick trolley walker. Has been using it since 10 months or so.

Good books with flaps include Acorn Wood series, and Dear Zoo.

Tin of jar lids

LetThereBeCupcakes · 27/10/2014 08:42

Toot Toot drivers here, too. He was only really interested in the actual cars at 1YO, but now at 21 months loves putting the track together. It really is a toy that will grow with your child IMO.

Toy kitchen was the next most loved toy. Would recommend a wooden one as they are so much sturdier.

Oh yes, the brick trolley. I still use that with DD (3) because we make things with the bricks, search through for letters on the bricks and use the trolley as a make shift doll's pram when friends come over and we need an extra!
