I loved The Wonder Weeks and No Cry Sleep Solutions what toddler books do you recommend along similar lines?

Hello all. PFB is now 16 months so we're running off the end of the baby books.

I loved these two, NCSS is still useful for sleep stuff, but I'm looking for books that cover the toddler years. I like to have a couple on the go for insight into developmental changes and ideas and strategies to help / support the tough bits, and also suggest overall approaches to sleep, routines, potty training etc etc.

My parenting style tends towards the attachment approach (still breast feeding, still co sleep part time) though I am a believer in a gentle routine, and got some useful ideas from she who must not be named GF (got me into co sleeping in a roundabout way Grin).

I know there's a book review section, really I'm looking for more specific suggestions on good follow onsto these kinds of books

Sounds like we have a similar approach, I have a two year old and I love Toddlercalm by Sarah Ockwell-Smith, think I got it when mine was about the same age as your little one, it really makes sense to me and I've found the suggestions really work for us.

Peaceful Parents, Happy Kids by Laura Markham (of the aha parenting website) is great, and The No Cry Discipline Solution by Elizabeth Pantley is very well thumbed in this house!

I liked the Sears 'Behaviour Book'

I really liked Toddler Taming by Dr Christopher Green - don't be put off by the title as I was initially (meaning I didn't read it until DC was nearly three and nearly out of the toddler stage!). Lots of sound advice and made me realise I could have given myself and DC a much easier time.
